Since its foundation in 2003, BFPE has been contributing to the democratic transformation and European integration of the region of Southeast Europe by conceptualizing and organizing the political education of interested and engaged citizens and decision-makers at various levels.

The BFPE alumni network currently includes over 1,400 participants in our long-term programs; as well as more than 200 politicians of the younger generation from the Western Balkans.
