Invited experts will acquaint us with the latest research and the situation around climate change in our country and in the world, and artists from the DAH Theatre will present their experience on the Dancing Trees project dedicated to the fight against excessive tree felling. Similar initiatives in the international context will also be discussed.

In the present situation on the planet, it is becoming increasingly clear that the engagement of all sectors of society, both citizens and experts and responsible politicians, is needed in order to achieve the necessary urgent changes. Our goal is for the conversation to stimulate ideas and present creative ways of fighting for the protection of the natural environment, which can inspire and mobilize citizens.

We expect the talks to increase understanding among our fellow citizens about the relationship between ecology, economics and politics; encourage the exchange of ideas and be an incentive for personal and collective initiatives; to disseminate information on existing initiatives, locally and internationally.

The webinar, as well as round tables with experts and activists, is aimed at providing support, instruments and guidance in the articulation of civic initiatives.

This webinar is also our response to the great need of citizens to be active but do not know how. From the conceptual beginning of the project, from research to meeting people and reactions after the show, it only confirms the importance of this topic for the people, who are worried, puzzled or irritated and – mostly willing to do something!
